The Study of IgG Subclasses in Renal Disease

Abstract
to study the levels of serum subclasses igG in nephrotic syndrome, we measured serum IgG and subclasses Igg(IgG1, IgG2, igG3, IgG4) in healthy child(30 cases), recurrent hematuria(8 cases0, and nephrotic syndrome(14 cases of frequent relapser and
17
cases of infrequent relapser). Each data were compared and the results ere same as follows.
1. In the normal healthy child, there was no difference in serum IgG, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4 levels with aging, but the serum level of IgG1 in 11 year-old age was significantly higher than that of 8 year-old age.
2. The serum IgG levels of nephrotic syndrome were significantly lower than that of normal control and recurrent hematuria group, and there was no difference in serum IgG levels between normal control and recurrent hematuria group.
3. The serum levels of IgG subclasses(IgG1, IgG2, igG3, IgG40 in the normal control were 68%, 25%, 4%, 3%, in order, and 65%, 28%, 5%, 2%, in the recurrent hematuria and 53%, 29%, 16%, 2%, in the nephrotic syndrome. These data showed that the
levels of
IgG1 in the nephrotic syndrome was lower than that of normal control and recurrent hematuria, but the levels of IgG3 were higher in nephrotic syndrome.
4. There was no difference in the serum levels of IgG subclasses(Ig G1, IgG2, IgG3, IgG4) between frequent relapse and infrequent relapse nephrotic syndrome.
